Each session is led by a Physical Therapy Assistant who monitors participants and modifies the exercises according to individual abilities. Drop-ins welcome. No registration is necessary. Child Birth Class
These classes are offered every month in a series of four classes, once a week. These classes cover the following topics: introduction to child birth, anatomy and physiology, relaxation and breathing techniques of contractions, true vs. false labor and when to come to the hospital. When you arrive to class, please make sure you have 2 bed pillows and a blanket.

History

Parkview Community Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization (95-3290732) established in 1973 by the Hospital Board of Directors and other concerned citizens who shared a commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the greater Riverside region. Today, the Foundation is governed by a 25 member volunteer Board of Directors who remain committed to providing quality, accessible, compassionate, cost-effective healthcare services, and who together seek gifts and grants to support the region’s only non-profit community hospital.
