A FREE weekly exercise class that improves health and well-being. Tai-Chi can relieve pain, reduce falls, and improve the quality of your life. Each session is led by a Physical Therapy Assistant who monitors participants and modifies the exercises according to individual abilities. Drop-ins welcome. No registration is necessary. Advances in Stroke Research and Treatment

Join us for a free dinner seminar with Dr. Byron Ford, Professor of Biomedical Sciences at UC Riverside School of Medicine. Dr. Ford and his team of researchers work with a recently discovered protein, NRG, that could prevent brain cell death and inflammation. Learn how this important research is leading to advances in the care of stroke patients. Registration is required.

History

Parkview Community Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization (95-3290732) established in 1973 by the Hospital Board of Directors and other concerned citizens who shared a commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the greater Riverside region. Today, the Foundation is governed by a 25 member volunteer Board of Directors who remain committed to providing quality, accessible, compassionate, cost-effective healthcare services, and who together seek gifts and grants to support the region’s only non-profit community hospital.
