These classes are offered every month in a series of four classes, once a week. The classes cover the following topics: introduction to childbirth, anatomy and physiology, relaxation and breathing techniques of contractions, true vs. false labor and when to come to the hospital.

A FREE weekly exercise class that improves health and well-being. Tai-Chi can relieve pain, reduce falls, and improve the quality of your life. Each session is led by a Physical Therapy Assistant who monitors participants and modifies the exercises according to individual abilities. Drop-ins welcome. No registration is necessary. Mamás y Bebés is a program dedicated to helping moms before and after baby who want to build support and explore the joys and challenges of motherhood! Lifestyle Medicine Series: Reversing Diabetes

Grab a seat and join us on the journey to wellness! In this 2-part series, Dr. Wayne Dysinger will discuss information that will help you get to the root of health issues rather than just seeking treatment for symptoms. Dr. Dysinger is an expert on Chronic Disease Reversal and Preventive Medicine. A complimentary dinner will be served.

When you arrive to class, please make sure you have 2 bed pillows and a blanket.

History

Parkview Community Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization (95-3290732) established in 1973 by the Hospital Board of Directors and other concerned citizens who shared a commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the greater Riverside region. Today, the Foundation is governed by a 25 member volunteer Board of Directors who remain committed to providing quality, accessible, compassionate, cost-effective healthcare services, and who together seek gifts and grants to support the region’s only non-profit community hospital.
