DIABETES EDUCATION

Specially trained nurse educators are available to provide inpatient and outpatient services for patients with diabetes. Individual consultation and support for training self-management is offered for adults, youth and the pregnant diabetic. Our registered dieticians may also be part of the patient education process, ensuring that our hospitalized patients understand important dietary needs when they are discharged from the hospital.
