Joint Commission Accreditation
Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center (PCHMC) is a Joint Commission Accredited Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) committed to the provision of quality and safe care to patients. Starting in 2006, the Joint Commission’s on-site surveys will be unannounced, which more effectively promotes ongoing compliance to standards.

Center of Excellence
Parkview Center for Surgical Weight Loss is approved by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
Institute for Medical Quality
In 2007, we received a three-year accreditation from IMQ (Institute for Medical Quality) which demonstrates compliance with national standards for health care quality and safety.
